Hi @Dotty123, I've shared your question on your other discussion thread here. If you try and keep all your questions and posts on that thread, more of our community will be able to see them and do their best to advise you. I hope that makes sense?

If the criteria applies to you then yes. Your decision letter should tell you.

Yes that's what it means. You will only receive it each week going forward if the criteria still applies to you.
You must live alone or be classed as living alone and no one must be claiming carers allowance or carer element of Universal credit for looking after you. You must also be claiming PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care.

SDP is not a taxable benefit. Who told you it was because who ever it was is not correct.

I got letter says esa can count as taxable income 2018/19 total all paid £1120 taxable allowance £1001 what is this why get extra esa and take it off me
If part of your ESA is contributions based then this is taxable income but what you'll receive will be below the tax allowance so you won't pay any tax at all. The Income related top up which the SDP is part of is NOT taxable. You have nothing to worry about and they are not taking any money off you, it's just you haven't understood the letter you've received.

A lot of people don't understand them, even the young ones. Age makes no difference.
