    @April2018mom yes my son does have a social worker. I’ve been trying to contact him all day with no success.

    That's a link for PIP MR and this is about the work capability assessment. Donna's son has completed the MR process and Tribunal is the next step.

    My daughter has a social worker too but i found them completely useless when claiming any benefits.

    Really speaking the only person that knows your son is yourself but face to face advice from an advice agency never goes a miss. Even more so if you can get representation from either welfare rights or a law centre.

    Hello @Donna_534. I'm really sorry to hear the MR didn't go your son's way. 
    As Poppy said, your next step would be to take it to tribunal. I'd really recommend taking a look at the links Hart shared earlier in the conversation and focusing your appeal on the descriptors that reflect your son's situation. Unfortunately, there are lots of things that they don't take into account for work capability assessments, so it's important to focus on the descriptors.
