    Overwhelmed! I have been researching children’s books all morning and I have no idea what to get the twins for Christmas. I may visit a bookshop tomorrow to see if they can help me.

    When my girls and grandchildren were small, I got them some books with their names in the stories. They were lovely. Cant recall where they were from. Maybe google it yeh?x

    My elder two children both loved books like that where they find themselves in the story, we'll definitely be doing it for my youngest when he's a little older. :)

    Very happy! My son’s Portage worker told me yesterday he could be discharged from the service because he is mostly on track.

    Trigger for potentially distressing news

    My maternal grandmother collapsed earlier whilst out shopping today. She lives in Philly and luckily her husband was there to assist. They rang for a ambulance and she was taken to a adult only hospital for observation and treatment. I just heard the news half a hour ago so still in shock. My mom rang with the news as soon as she heard. So my current mood is indescribable now. They think she may have also banged her head as she fell. She seems to have had a heart attack or stroke.
