I am a 78 yr old radio presenter, I am a Londoner born and bred but moved to Ireland 11 years ago, I love the people, the scenery and the peace and quiet, the downside is I do miss my family, I recently spent a month in Australia as my only daughter lives there, as I have got older I do find travel more difficult but am very grateful to the assistance that is available at the airports.I have severe arthritis and had a heart attack last year, I love photography and promote Irish Country music

Hi @Gilly123 - Welcome to the community & thank you for your interesting introduction! I know an 87 year old that visited her son for a month in Australia last January. He's her only relative, having none here, & I know she feels the same as you.You might try visiting the Coffee Lounge dection here where music is one of the topics often discussed, as well as hobbies. Here's a link: https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/coffee-loungeI hope to see you around, & if you have any questions, please say.
