So many problems, so little time! I have CRPS and am on the autism spectrum. I also have really poor mental health due to pain and severe mobility problems.

There are other things, but primarily I'm looking for, and to offer, support with moving on in life.

    Hi Rooprs,
Your in the right place. Lots of nice people that are able to listen and offer advice. Your not alone. One step at a time. What do you need help with?

Hey @Rifi7. I guess I'm looking for emotional support as I get terribly down and lonely. I would like to offer help with others too, where I can.

I suppose there are a lot of others in similar positions but I definitely feel alone.

I think most people do and especially this time of year when the nights draw in so quickly. We can be surrounded by people and still feel alone. Do you have a dog?

No, this is my friend's dog, and she's awesome!; I adore her!

I wish I has a dog, although I don't think I could manage one physically anymore, even if my apartment allowed it, which it doesn't!

Dogs are pretty amazing. In fact animals are pretty fantastic in general. I have a little dog. She’s the cutest little thing. Have you not thought of getting a cat or dog. They are amazing company.

I have thought about getting a cat, but I would need to move flat to do so, which is incredibly stressful to contemplate right now!

Also, I'm unsure whether I could even get a cat, mostly due to my mobility issues, but I'd be prepared to try once I move! That may be something I need to deal with next year!

Yes maybe that’s something to think about for the future. I will be coming off line in a little while but I’m usually online around this time if you ever needed a chat.

Hi @Rooprs - Welcome to the community, I'm very pleased you joined. Great introduction, as I see you mean what you say, & are already reaching out to help other people, thank you. That's what this community is about; sharing advice where we can, & supporting each other. I see you've met some lovely people already, & are looking around at other posts!
The spiceman has sent you some great advice, the only other thing I can do is to offer support, & an additional link to CRPS, in case you haven't seen it. See: https://crps-uk.org
