I'm a 27 year old mother of 2. I have Aspergers, Ehlers Danlos, Fibro, Pots, Severe Anxiety and Depression, As well as all the lovely problems that come along with them. I'm a 2 times college drop out (neither voluntary) due to my health but I'm stubborn, cutting  out the middleman and applying straight to uni. Hopefully i can get into the costume course at AUB. I don't really know what to put   here, it's daunting and anyways if you'd like to talk i'd love to connect to others, i honestly find it vary hard.

Hi@Rue - Welcome to the community. Just wanted to say I understand a little as I have the hypermobile type of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, & PoTS is often linked to that. On our EDS website as mentioned above, please also see: https://www.rcgp.org.uk/eds which is the GP's toolkit showing the many different ways EDS can affect our bodies.
Our son was also described as being 'next door' to Aspergers when he was 20 by a neuropsychologist. He also has EDS.
There are getting to be rather a lot of us here with EDS, so you should find others to chat with. Many of the people in the community are very supportive & friendly, so I hope you enjoy being here.
I hope you get into Uni; good for you for being a fighter!
