Thank you for your kind words and welcoming me to the community.
Brilliant news that you have overcome your addiction as I'm sure that's a difficult one to do.
My main aim on here is to support those who suffer or are parents/ carers to children with disability. As I am a mother my self to a child with cerebral palsy.
I'm very familiar with mental health as again I have personal experience with in the family also. So anything I can do to support you and others out there please give us a shout.
All the best -
Hi @jadealyssa - Welcome to the community from me too, Jade. My eldest granddaughter is a Jade too! It's lovely you are joining Scope as a volunteer with your understanding of cerebral palsy & other disabilities.I qualified as a physio a very long time ago, but used to work with young children who had CP.Anyway it's good you have joined, & I'm sure you'll be an asset to this great community. Pleased you have 'met' the one & only spiceman, who has helped me enormously.

Hi @chiarieds
Thank you so much, lovely to meet you also.
How did you find your work in physio? My son have regular physio appointments and I cant thank his team enough they have enabled him to be as mobile as he currently is. It's great work that you guys do!
And Jade was very popular a few years back although I dont hear it as often anymore
Take care
Hope to connect with you again soon -
Hi Jade, I loved being a physio, & as a student had began to realise I wanted to work with children with CP. I felt I made a difference when I saw children become enabled to do more. I've said this before on the forum, but one of the reasons I'm still here is because what made we want to become a physio was because I wanted to help people....& this has never left me. So you'll probably see me around. My best wishes to you; I'm sure you'll enjoy the community.
