Hi everyone on here my name is Jackie and go under Moonand sun 50 just joined and already had 2 welcomes. I live in s.e London and have a rare disability called Avascular necrosis AVN which affects my mobility terrible and its painful. It's a bone type disease.
Looking to chat and find some nice friends. Xx

I'm sorry to read you have avascular necrosis, as I had a patient who had this in her hips....a long time ago when I was a physio student, but appreciated how painful this was for her.Have you come across the AVN UK support group? Sending the link just in case it may be helpful. See: http://avncharity.org.uk/You'll find we're a motley crew of people facing different disorders (I have the hypermobile type of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which also affects my mobility), but we often have much in common, & try to help & support each other.You're always welcome to chat, & there's usually someone about. I look forward to seeing you here! Please do also say if you have any questions as there's usually someone who can help/advise.
