Hello @j4ff4   Pleased to meet you.

Thank you for joining and sharing.

Please can I add any mental health can be physical as well.

As it harms and can cause certain aspects of the body to react to conditions around mental health.

These may include stress and anxiety can cause stomach pains, chest pains.  Muscle aches, shakes and physical possible may include dry mouth and sickness, nausea.

Headaches sweats shivers and other symptoms.

Changes in diet and nutrition effecting the ability of the body to process any important nutrients.

Lack of appetite or extremes of diet including junk food weight and obesity.

Which can lead to reliant on some people use addiction drugs, alcohol to cope.

I think it is important to look at the both aspects of mental and physical health connected including education, knowledge and learning how to cope be aware of your conditions.

I would always recommend looking at mental health charities.

Some thing I use all the time, with the current situation I do not know if there are taking new clientele but is always useful to consider.

Hi @j4ff4 - Welcome to the community. A disability is anything that dis-ables you, & Scope welcomes people with either a physical or mental disability. As my friend thespiceman says, mental health issues can cause physical problems, & likewise those with physical disorders may have mental health issues due to their physical disorder. We have many members with both dis-abilities.
So, you're most welcome, & I hope thespiceman's resources prove helpful. With many disabilities we need to look at both mental & physical health problems, as they so often co-exist, so we need to understand both in order to help.
I hope you enjoy being part of this very supportive community, & please post here any time.
