Hello everybody, hope you're all doing as well everything 2020 brings considered.
I've been reading the Scope forums a fair bit, and needed to ask a question so, I created an account here.
I might be able to provide answers to some questions if people have any regarding the HOLD scheme, as I've gone through that process in Hampshire.
Not sure if it's appropriate but I also happen provide free website hosting for charities and people "with a charity related message".
I might look and see if there's a section for that kind of stuff.
So, hello!
Best of regards
Martin

Hi @martin_n and thanks for finally posting. What sort of websites do you usually build?

Welcome Martin, you will be a great asset to Scope readers.
Your crossover of knowledge areas will be remarkable.
A past Scope spokesman once wrote on the topic of how the disabled activists and organisations splinter up, understandably, into separate specialist areas, but don't unite even between themselves, let alone with the two other large groups who need to clamour together, but don't. Carers and Older people have a huge amount in common, and their joint interests are frequently exactly the same or overlap closely with the disability splinter groups.
Best wishes to you (and the 'wheelie' you care for.)
Can people say "us wheelies must stand together"? (!)
P.s.Have you noticed the Hold related situation in a post since yours?0 -

Thanks for the warm welcome to you all
@Adrian_Scope, I've been doing white-labeled websites for all sort, from small local shops to sports clubs and some heavy industries like steel workers. Not sure what the forum policies are on self promotion, so I'll keep it somewhat anonymous until I find out whether such is frowned upon
I moved to the UK in January of 2019, and needing to take care of my girlfriend, I took the time she needed. Been doing some websites and tech support on the side to make a bit of money, and I'm aiming to more actively take on UK clients pretty soon.
Already got a decent list of charities around Southampton I'll be contacting, might as well give back where I can
If "self promotion" is allowed in some sense, I would like to offer up my time, expertise and hosting to charities and good causes here on the forum. That might be a question you can answer Adrian, or @Chloe_Scope?
@newborn
I'll be looking around the forum and help where I can - but short on time these days, what with taking care of my partner, finding some suitable housing and client work. But I'll find time to help out, I'm sure
@steve51 and @Chloe_Scope
Thanks0
