I have been a foster carer for 28 years fostering young people with disabilities and additional needs. over the past 12 years i have been providing short breaks for children with disabilities and thier families.
I have recently semi retired and started working for a care company as Business development manager.

thank you for the welcome.Unfortunatly with the lock down my short break care has been put on hold until it is safe to work with the young ones that i care for as they are all either massive sensory seekers or have pysical care needs. got to say im really missing them although i have had a couple of through the window visits.As for my new job im just finding my feet. its all about promoting the company as its something i really believe in.everyone has the right to live in tier own home in thier community. not just where there is a vacancy.
