Hi there. I've joined this group after searching for post polio syndrome and this site seemed to have more recent posts than most other sites.

Welcome to the community @Unisee! Thank you for joining.
Hopefully some of our other members will be able to relate to your experience. Feel free to take a look around, and give us a shout if you need anything -
Hi and welcome glad you have joined I look forward to seeing you around

This is the most incomprehensible chatroom I've ever seen. I searched for "polio" which produced a few hits. I'd like to respond to the poster but I can see no way of doing so. How do I reply?
-
Hi @unisee! You should be able to reply in the same way you have on this post, by scrolling down to the bottom and typing a new comment. Could you send me a link to the post you want to reply to?
-
All that does is post in a thread, I can find no way of replying to a specific post.
-
I'm 100% clear on what you mean I'm afraid @Unisee. By writing a comment, you are replying to the post. If you want to show you're replying to one specific person, you can tag them by writing @ and then their username, like I've done above. Does that help?
-
The page showing the 5 hits doesn't have a box at the bottom to post a comment, never mind reply to a post
-
Hmm. Sorry about that @Unisee. Would you be able to send me a link to the post so I can try and see what the issue might be?
-
Hi sorry you are having problems just wanted to point out this isnt a chatroom just an online forum

Please delete my profile and the data it contains

I'm sorry to hear that you want to leave the community @Unisee. Would you be able to send an email to community@scope.org.uk so we can go about deleting your account, if that's what you'd like?
If it's just a case of sorting out the issue of not being able to reply to posts, we'd love to try and fix that instead! -
Hi @Unisee - I'd just like to say that this is possibly one of the posts you found when you searched. Please see: https://community.scope.org.uk/discussion/58735/post-polio-syndrome?_ga=2.204386006.756640953.1594920585-462006494.1594920585&_gac=1.94770670.1597621983.Cj0KCQjwsuP5BRCoARIsAPtX_wEmlLsLJtZj8GSIadAKOzFsiv5pSbuXOEwck9xJsPtSOxtdYBHHLb4aAvvtEALw_wcBNow unfortunately this is an old post & therefore not all members are active, however one of them is. I'll ask @exdvr to see if he may respond. He hasn't been on the site for a few days, but does keep popping in, & I would think he'd be a very good person to talk to. Just to explain when you do a search on here, you need to click on one of the posts, & then you would be able to post a reply.Another resource that may be helpful to you is the British Polio Fellowship: https://www.britishpolio.org.uk/Hope some of this helps, & sorry you've found this site a little difficult to navigate; it does take a little getting used to, but everyone here just wants to help, so hope you stay, & find support..
