Pip and casual work advice please

Hi every one I’m looking for some advice @poppy123456 and who ever else has any advice . I was just offered a casual cleaning job that’s near my home but this is doing bank work so 3 to 8 hours here and there could be even 3 hours a month it’s just a start to get me back working or at least to try that this employer seems really nice and knows I’ll disabled .
Now of course I don’t want to loose my pip I know you don’t have to tell them your working but they will know via the tax office and I don’t want them thinking oh she’s back at work she’s better and stop my pip .
I still struggle day to day my points I scored still stand . My medication has gone up so I feel bit more better that I can do this work as it’s hardly any hours but I was just worried it will flash up and there like for example cupcake gets pip but she’s now working let’s stop her pip and re assess her As I rely on my pip . Is there a chance that could happen they could just stop my pip because when I had my assessment I explained I used to do the odd bit of cleaning but I wasn’t doing any work at the time of assessment .

Some advice would be appreciated I do want to do this job as it’s little work but not if there’s a chance my pip will be stopped advice please XX

im always in a hurry to try and get better maybe I always do things to soon
Regarding the job itself, only you know what's best for you... Other people will rightly want to protect you and stop you risking something that could go badly but at the end of the day it's your choice. Personally, I don't think you've got anything to lose by seeing them tomorrow or having a trial. If it's not for you, even with the support and adaptions, then you can leave but at least you'll know. If you don't try it you'll spend weeks wondering whether it would have been ok or not. For what it's worth, I briefly worked in a small supermarket...as you know I'm agoraphobic and suffer with OCD, SA, GAD etc as well, I worked alongside colleagues with depression, anxiety, ASD and bi-polar...honestly it was more like a mental health support group than a workplace!
no I don’t claim any thing else just pip . I have been truthful with pip about all my struggles , my care I’m getting my meds ect . theres nothing I have said to them that isn’t the truth . All tho I didn’t let them know bout a recent overdose I took as I didn’t see why they would need to know that and my meds have got up .
No, sadly I only lasted about 9 months there and have never had another 'proper' job since...I couldn't cope mentally or physically and left on poor terms in the end. If I had explained that I had health issues I might have lasted longer as it was the pressured, entrapped till work that kept triggering panic and IBS attacks, if I'd been allowed to continue with just shelf filling and no till work I could've coped better.
However, after leaving, I did always have some 'work' to do, whether that was gardening or fixing cars or DIY. I lost two grandads within the space of a few months, leaving 2 disabled Nan's in a rural area that didn't drive and needed a lot of help. It's only now that I can't really do anything other than sit at home all day that I'm really struggling mentally, I was able to manage much better when I had something to do and hope to start doing something similar again soon.
What you need to concentrate on is if you want to take the opportunity and try this work. To be honest you will probably not find an opportunity like this very often to allow you to return to work slowly and with someone who seems to understand and dealt with similar employees in the past.
But the question is are you ready but you can give it a try and see if you cant get on with it then just stop doing it
thank you for your reply . Yeh I know it states that but I just panic and over things stuff .
I know and understand your anxiety which is why I may sometimes come across as blunt but I am only trying to motivate you
Good luck and let us know how you get on tomorrow

im lucky enough to have an amazing partner who supports me . But I don’t like relying on him financially yes I have pip now so I’m able to help a little bit but not as much as I would like . I do have a little savings pot for us for emergencies. My Partner always says I help a lot I clean , I do the washing and I look after him but I feel like it’s the other way around he looks after me . I just want to so badly get back to how i was but I feel like that part of me has gone .
i have been threw some traumatic events that has changed me . I feel like I’m constantly mourning the old me if that makes sense .
You are being useful and supportive to your partner and I am sure he cherishes the things you do for him. A relationship is a partnership where you both do what you can to support each other and thats not just financial and it sounds like you have a great relationship and that is something to be proud of
