You can still claim universal credit that is done online go to univerdil credit on search bar then go to put a claim in then just follow the instructions  because you have a disability you can put in a claim for pip  you get this even if you work  phone them and they will tell you I will send you the phone number for pip  or if  you type personal independent payments the phone number will come up

You can put in a claim with  your local bus company but you need to be Vladimir g a benefit first but do claim pip  and universal credit as that will help you

Universal Credit is a means tested benefit and claiming this will depend on your circumstances. As you are not a UK national then you will first have to pass the Habitual Residence test, details here in this link. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/claiming-benefits-if-youre-from-the-EU/before-you-apply/check-if-you-can-pass-the-habitual-residence-test-for-benefits/
As you've only been here in the UK for 1 month then it's unlikely that you'll be able to claim successfully.

PIP, to be eligible to claim this you must have lived in the UK for 2 of the last 3 years so unfortunately, you won't be able to claim this. https://www.gov.uk/pip/eligibility

You are entitled to something have you got a national insurance number  and you also need a right to work in this country evidence

Hi @lesLY1 - I would advise that you look at the links that Poppy has given. Her advice on benefits, etc. is excellent. I'm sure Lisa means well, & is trying to help, but, having myself been a member of Scope's online community for 16 months myself, rather than Lisa's 2 weeks, I have seen how much Poppy knows, & how she helps people.

I'm sorry but you can't just advise someone that they will be entitled to benefits, without knowing all of their exact circumstances. To claim UC Lesly will need to pass the HRT if this isn't possible then a claim for UC will not be possible.

For PIP then as the gov.uk link advises you need to be in the UK for 2 out of the past 3 years.
