Hello,

I hope this finds you well. Me and Faith at ARU are currently carrying out our final year Psychology Project for our degree dissertation. We have created a survey that asks adults with an existing diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition about their experience of meltdowns and are currently recruiting for participants. Our research has gained appropriate ethical approval from Anglia Ruskin University Ethics panel.

Attached is our advert which details what a participant would be asked to do to complete this survey. It is important to point out that to date, there is not any research into what these experiences are like for adults and that is our overall aim through doing this.

If it is appropriate, please could you advertise this survey on your group/ forum as we are currently looking for participants. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Thank you immensely for your time, we hope this research helps those with a diagnosis through awareness and support.
