Hi there my son is 29 years of age at the moment he is having sleeping and behaviour issues it’s really heart breaking seeing him like this he was taken off fluoxetine 60 mg and he is now on 30 mg of mertazepine and his his behaviour has gone a lot worse sometimes he won’t get up till later in the day I’m at my wits end worrying about him any suggestions please

Hi I am sorry to hear about your sons issues
I would contact his gp and explain the effects the new medication is having on him . That you have tried the new but it isnt working out for him -

Oh heck, that sounds worrying for you. I'd second @janer1967 's advice about telling your GP the mirtazapine doesn't seem to be helping. Please let us know how you get on.
