Hi there
It can take a while jt as it was a dwp award it should be quicker
You will prob find your payment goes in before you get a letter as they are released at same time and bank us quicker
They will need to calculate your backpay and get it authorised -
Hi @mod4it64 congrats on winning your award, they will send you a letter out, as its only been since 5th May you won the award, these things can a bit of time to sort out, I apriciate its been 7 months in the running all together but hopefully you receive something soon. Also welcome to the forum.

Hi @mod4it64.
Just wanted to say that’s great news. It shouldn’t be to long till it’s sorted glad they got it right in the end.?

Welcome to the community @mod4it64 Good to have yo with us!
I know a couple of our members have already been in touch in response to your first post. Hopefully, that's helped to answer your query?
Glad to hear that it was good news about your PIP award. In fact, given the content of your first post, I've just tweaked the title slightly and popped this thread into our PIP, DLA and AA category, so that other members can share in your good news!
Please do stick around as well. Whilst you're here you might want to get involved in some of the chats in our Coffee lounge, or have a look at some of our other recent discussions on the community. It would be great to get to know you a bit better.
All the best, and you have a good day.

Hi @mod4it64. That is great news. Well done

Congratulations @mod4it64
I got a phone call on Thursday afternoon too offering me Enhanced DL and Standard Mobility (from 0 points). I'm still waiting for the DWP to close my appeal and a letter about my backpay and future payments. Fingers crossed things won't be too long for us but I'll be ringing Friday to see if there's an update. -
Congratulations . It,s great to hear a success. Well done
-
They’ve just emailed and text me saying my appeal is now closed. I’m not sure how much longer it’ll take now, feel a fool after writing that before ?

Well done @bg844, that’s great news ?

Thank you all. I shouldn’t of even had to accept an offer to be honest, I was on a lifetime DLA award with no issues, no assessment either. I never phoned them and they wrote to me if they needed anything (which only happened once). I think if you get a long-term/life award you must be disabled. I feel a big injustice for all disabled people especially those who move over to stupid systems like PIP. I’m sorry for the rant but the DWP honestly anger me so much. Before all this saga I’d give them high praise but now I say to anyone ‘get what you can before they take it away’. This is making me very ill if I’m completely honest.

@mod4it64 It's great to hear you had some success, thank you for sharing it with our community.
@bg844 I'm glad you've had some positive news too but sorry to hear the process has made you feel ill Are you receiving support from your GP with this?
