I'm so sorry you feel let down by Shelter @tifo. I wanted to comment and ask if you have checked out Scope's Advice and Support? They recommend Crisis too, who are a charity to help homelessness but who have a wealth of knowledge. Maybe an advisor there may be able to point you in a better direction?

I'm trying to get advice and representation if needed but it's not easy. I assume because each organisation is given funding for a certain area and Shelter get it for my area, and organisations don't step on others' toes.0 -
@tifo Information about the funding for areas should be known by your local MP or at least, they'll have access to it. Maybe contacting them or going along to one of their surgery days as they sometimes have advisers with them. You may be able to find some more advice and maybe even get some representation.0

It sounds really positive that it might help @tifo and that they're already helping you with your complaint about the delay to your WCA assessment.
Glad to hear the DWP accepted their mistake in not referring you for assessment in 2019 and offered a nominal sum in compensation as a 'special payment'.
This, at least, sounds like some of the weight has been lifted. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you want to talk about this further with us or need any particular support.
We are all here for you and listening to you. Take care for now and we will look forward to, hopefully, hearing from you again soon1 -

I can hear your frustrations @tifo - especially the slap in the face. Added to this are the delay and their error which caused you to lose this in 2019/2020.
Would anything, in particular, help this to be more manageable for you at the moment? Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything we can do to support you.
We are all here for you and listening to you. You don't have to face this, or anything else, alone if you don't want to.
Take care for now and we will look forward to, hopefully, hearing from you again soon0
