I applied for pip 8th august 2022, my assessment was 15th December, I recently received a text from dwp stating I have been awarded pip 09/01/23, I’ve seen the back payment takes 3-5 days
-
Morning @Billijo that's great news, thanks for sharing.
-
So I was just wondering does the back pay go into your bank the same week as the text stating I had been awarded?
-
If i remember right mine went in the same week, i can remember the letter came at least 2 weeks after my back pay went into the bank.
-
Thank you very much

Any money owed takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank from when payment was sent.
-
Hi poppy how do I find out when they sent it?
-
You'll need to ring PIP and ask, they will tell you what day to expect it to be paid into your bank. They will also tell you what exactly you've been awarded if you ask.
