After 10 years of my 29 year old son receiving PIP they have stopped it. He is Dyslexic, Severe Dyscalculia, Global learning a speech impediment, tremor syndrome and had a cardiac Arrest 6 years ago, he now has a ICD fitted. I'm beyond words. He had a full SEND from the age of 6, he would struggle to live on his own and would be so vulnerable. I'm getting tired of fighting for his rights. we have never had any support from external agencies as I wanted to support him being his MOM, I now feel i may have been naive. We went to the Dr's early Nov for him to be refereed to the Learning Disability support team but have heard nothing. Where do we go? What if anything can I do??
