Could you help me please because nobody seems to have the answer to this question, when claiming carers allowance I understand you must be caring for the person in question for a minimum of 35hrs ,I know it can be care in many ways but is the travelling time to and from the person who needs care count as part of the 35hrs care ?

Hello @juliesea
How are you today? Just wanted you to know, I've popped your query in our Benefits and Financial Support section of the forum, to see if more people can help with your query.
Unfortunately I couldn't find a clear answer on the GOV website, hopefully someone in the community will know1 -
Thank you so much Hannah ,but this seems to be a grey area with no clarity0
