Yeah I understand why I'm not entitled now. Just wasn't very clear to me in my letter. Thank you to you and everyone else in clearing that up for me.calcotti said:Sorry for the typos in my earlier post.
I agree that if you were eligible to ESA there would be merit in getting ESA as well even UC though there would be no financial gain. However it does look likely that you are not entitled to ESA.0 -
Oh right my partner seemed to think different or maybe I misunderstood him. I have been updating my sick notes anyway to UC so hopefully that should make it clear as to why I'm not actively looking for work. The Work Capability Assessment for ESA and UC is exactly the same. For those who claim both the WCA is undertaken by UC. UC will not the WCA decision into account until the WCA assessment has been completed and a decision made. In the mean time a Work Coach can use their discretion to reduce or turn off requirement. In your case, because of your earnings, you should be in the light touch anyway as mentioned by poppy.youhave13hours said:
