No, there is no news yet. I expect they will either send it back or probably tell me they need something else and haven't issued it as there is another problem.BrettW said:
Who knows I might have a pleasant surprise in time for my birthday this week, but I am not holding my breath. If I do receive it then I will book driving lessons for automatic cars to enable me to be able to drive the car off the forecourt when it eventually arrives.1 -

So it was returned today and they still haven't issued my licence. I am livid, furious. I have made a complaint. This time they are asking for my marriage certificate. I got married 10 years ago and didn't bother changing my name exactly because of this.BrettW said:
My husband and I don't even live together currently he is in the USA, I came back to sponsor him in 2018 but I couldn't quite hit the sponsoring wage that the government bought in, although my husband has a degree in accountancy and has worked hard all his life. Shame on them.
Anyway sorry for going off subject, but I have made a formal complaint, now I have to ask someone to post the letter back again as I rarely leave the flat due to severe anxiety and physical ailments, a car would make all the difference for me, a place to feel safe and to escape from my prison. @wkd I am so sorry that it still hasn't been issued. I hope you get a swift response for the complaint and get your licence soon. Have you thought about reaching out to your Local MP for support?0
