@wkd Oh dont get me started on the DVLA they are the most inept government agency I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with and that saysing something lol. It's ridiculous, as I found out, that one DVLA department has no way of speaking to another - totally archaic systems they have in place there.
In terms of the cruise control on the Mokka I wouldn't worry because you don't have to worry about turning it on or off because as soon as you touch the pedals it automatically overides the cruise control system0 -

I will let you know in the next couple of weeks if the third application is a success or not, if it is not then I will be making a noise. I hate complaining, if I have to post it one more time and pay for more postage I won't be a happy bunny. I have an idea what the problem is though, half the government jobs are agency, and some agency staff are incompetent due to lack of training and not being there long enough or not caring as they get paid peanuts. I know this as I worked for the government via an agency until COVID-19 hit and we were laid off without furlough. What I witnessed was temporary staff coming and going, not caring due to low wages and some just clueless.1 -

Who knows I might have a pleasant surprise in time for my birthday this week, but I am not holding my breath. If I do receive it then I will book driving lessons for automatic cars to enable me to be able to drive the car off the forecourt when it eventually arrives.1 -

My husband and I don't even live together currently he is in the USA, I came back to sponsor him in 2018 but I couldn't quite hit the sponsoring wage that the government bought in, although my husband has a degree in accountancy and has worked hard all his life. Shame on them.
Anyway sorry for going off subject, but I have made a formal complaint, now I have to ask someone to post the letter back again as I rarely leave the flat due to severe anxiety and physical ailments, a car would make all the difference for me, a place to feel safe and to escape from my prison. Hmm.0 -
@wkd I am so sorry that it still hasn't been issued. I hope you get a swift response for the complaint and get your licence soon. Have you thought about reaching out to your Local MP for support?0
