Remaining politically neutral during General Election 2024
Under guidance from the Electoral Commission and Charity Commission, it's important that Scope remains politically neutral during General Elections.
While we understand that this period will see many passionate discussions and do not want to discourage open discussion, we cannot allow discussions which are purely intended to influence voting.
As ever, please make sure that your comments remain respectful of other people's opinions and keep to our online community house rules.

@Marydoll5 aww sorry to hear about the birds, I wouldn't know what to do in that situation wishing the birds all the best and end up surviving. I have lots of birds nests outside my flat, we just had a litter of magpies and its cute watching them develop with mum and dad.

I'm kinda mixed with heat, like I do enjoy sunshine but not one for sitting out in it for too long or sun bathing. Also UK heat is horrible and humid unlike if you ever go abroad and its hot but a different kind of heat. My ideal weather is just warm enough for a shirt but not too hot. Do you like the heat?

@rubin16 that makes sense to me yes!! I know what you mean about UK heat as well. I like the heat but I can't wear clothes that expose body so it's hard and also I'm on medication that makes me hot, but I still do enjoy it

Change off plan here to my son messaged sd he didn’t want to wake Polly up as she had been up a few times through the night so he might bring them later this afternoon for an hour.

I do like the heat but your right it’s different here from abroad I hate when it gets to uncomfortable here. It’s really clammy here but the sun isn’t out I hate it like this.@Ada

Thanks @Ada it's nice having this forum when I'm home alone, it's like most people would have company in the office at work or something but we have this, it's not so lonely as being home with no one to talk to
