Morning everyone, bright and sunny again although were meant to get rain later this afternoon. I managed to eat a salad last night for dinner it was the only thing I fancied and really enjoyed it in the end. I googled and apprently its perfectly normal to not want to eat when its hot, it has something to do with disgesting food creates heat so your body doesn't want it.
I'm going to meet my nan for lunch today.

@Sandy_123 & @Marydoll5 sorry you both had rough nights, after today the weather is meant to go cooler again so hopefully you have a better nights sleep.

Hi @rubin16 I'm glad you are something and enjoyed it ๐ we have an insurance loss adjuster coming today so we need to stay in โฆ I won't go into detail yet but we have a little issue, well a big one really as we needed to involve the house insurance ๐

Yeah it's not feeling too bad down here currently, but I'm sure I'll be eating my words by lunchtime.
My fun job of the day will be calling the DWP at lunch to ask for a copy of my PIP report, as I'll be having to do a MR. It's all fun and games here. ๐

@Albus_Scope oh I know that issue too well, I have been awarded PIP after a MR though, just to counter the horror stories! I know it's rare but it does happen - mine was before Covid but maybe it's less rare since Covid/all the backlogs?

I've had to go to 2 tribunals over my PIP so far, so I'm kinda used to it now haha. It would be much nicer if they just acknowledged that autism and arthritis wont magically go away in three years. ๐

I suppose it's based around how it affects us, which can change in fairness
It's one reason to support a (at least partially) condition-based assessment, because then there is less punishment for working hard at trying to improve your situation โฆ you'd still qualify for something because as you say autism doesn't go away, you're just dealing with it well!!
