    I don't know how long the wait is going to be for the autism assessment. The person I spoke to today told me to email them directly. I managed to remember I needed to email them late on . At least I emailed them eventually lol 😆. Fingers crossed it's not much longer.

    I really wanted the assessment to be autism and adhd together . I never realised what would happen.

    Hopefully the autism assessment will be soon, I’ve been waiting for my assessment for around 12 months but been told it will be around 36 months

    Can I ask how they assessed you to have adhd and did they tell you straight away ?

    Hi @apples , i hope it isn't too long either. Fingers crossed for both of us . They sent out some questions via email and text . We answer them and send them back . I'm with psychiatry uk . I had a video call and was asked a few questions on what I put in the answers and I was told at the end of the video call . Hope this helps.

    I think my referral was just for an autism assessment but I would have liked to have both tests

    At least you have one diagnosis hopefully the autism assessment will be soon

    Ah I'm glad you got a diagnosis @Strawberry1 that's good news. How're you feeling about it now?
    They often do the separate assessments, so not to worry there. I'm waiting for my ADHD assessment still, but it's fairly obvious I have it. 😆
