depression is awful sorry to hear your suffering @Strawberry1 i feel like this all the time it can be unbearable nobody understands how hard it is. I find distracting myself with things helps me get through it. I hope you’re feeling better soon, just know you are not alone and it’s nothing that you have done wrong, if anything I think we feel like this because we’re too kind and our hearts are too big to deal with all the horrible things in life especially all the awful unkind people

Strawberry, I'm glad you can talk to your GP. I wish I'd known the Scope forum in the period following diagnosis but I'm also glad I lived alone. It was incredibly painful. I haven't read of anyone who regrets seeking diagnosis.

Validation from others (with one exception) came as another shock because this thing I had didn't seem to matter to anyone else! That was confusing until I found this forum. Know people are thinking of you even when they're not writing to you.

Average Joe "I'll never understand women" 🙄 - well that's not our fault!

Just getting so down with things lately. I'm on antidepressants. I used to go to a craft place once a month can't now as ex friend there who was horrible to me. When I posted it on Facebook my page someone who I know a bit who also knows her said I shouldn't post things personal on my own page. So I deleted it. Got no friends. Starting something next week. Very worried about the UC migration this year. Still not heard back from esa review from January. Really struggling, not just physical health but mental. This labour government makes it worse wondering what will happen in the budget.

So so sorry to hear how things are for you @Andi66 . My heart goes out to you during all this stress you are encountering . Sorry to hear about the craft class issues too . Hope whatever you are starting next week is a nice thing for you . Everything seems to be a waiting issue and it's not a nice thing to deal with. I hope you hear something soon . Keep plodding on you got this 👍. Take care 🙂

I was just curious if anyone with Autism gets easily upset?

hiya, yes I get upset very easily but I had always put it down to being a highly sensitive person, as I have gotten older I have learned to try and hide fact that I am upset infront of people and once I am alone I have a good cry, unfortunately it doesn’t always work as alot of the time my emotions just burst out. I tend to blame myself majority of the time as I know I am ridiculously sensitive
