How is your day going?

I had a weekend that was mostly cleaning up the house. I really let it get in a bit of a messy state. Been struggling with medication shortages and whatnot so it all kind of built up. Now that I have my meds again I got around to doing a whole bunch of cleaning! @Biblioklept
Also, the name isn't really short for anything really!
Morning @Marydoll5, I hope you're doing well π How have you been?

Morning everyone @Marydoll5 I just had to send more pics in, unreal really after 7 8 weeks.
@Biblioklept that's a shame I hope that nasty pain has gone
Good luck @Amberpearl

Hi @Jimm_Scope and @Biblioklept . I got back home yesterday from London tired but very happy. The wedding was magical and we really enjoyed it.
The newlyweds are in Santorini on honeymoon this week. I'm glad there are no appointments till Wednesday this week as it gives us a chance to recover.
It was one of those weddings that was casual but dressy and I really felt the love for my son and daughter in law π.
I managed over 1000 steps a day which is a lot for me! We saw lots of cowboy boot and hat wearing fans going to Taylor Swifts concerts.

Ah yes, there was the Taylor Swift concerts in London over the weekend. I imagine it was very busy! It's good to have a period to recover after travelling. I always try to book an extra day or two if I can to give me some time to rest and get back into the swing of things @Marydoll5

I wrote a poem about my 3 cats in recently lost
In loving memory to felix, Bruce and delilalh
Bruce my sweet Selkirk rex, so gentle and small, at 12 years old you brought love to us all.
Never a hiss or a growl, just a lap full of purrs, your calm presence was a comfort that always endures.
Felix my grand ragdoll, so big and so blue, with a loving touch and a tap that was true.
You licked with affection and splashed in your bowl, a majestic soul and a heart full of gold.
Delilalh dear daughter of Bruce, so pretty and shy, taken so soon a sudden goodbye.
Timid yet lovely, you hid but we're dear, your memory will linger as your spirit is always near.
I mourn the loss of each if my cherished friends, I my heart, their love will never end.
Bruce, felix, delilalh you left pawprints so deep, in every tear and memory, your love will keep.

I'm not too bad thanks @Jimm_Scope ,the weather's crimping my doodoo though.
Next door's cat eats spiders;our dog ate a couple when she was a puppy, but I don't think she liked the taste of them very much.

I've moved on from pringles and have now been introduced to a snack called Want Want which is a Japanese rice cake. @Jimm_Scope @Biblioklept @Sandy_123 I've absolutely no idea about it's nutrition or suitability for those with dietary requirements, but they are equally as moorish as the dreaded Pringle. I have today perfected my 'log roll' manoeuvre to get in and out of bed so have had to have Want Wants removed from my room and hidden out of sight! π

@onedayatatime well done for doing the log roll. I hope your not in too much pain, rice cakes don't sound the same as a Pringle, pringles win BBQ ones

@Sandy_123 as of yesterday I would have agreed with you (though I would have debated between BBQ and original.) However, this is no ordinary rice cake. Oh no, do not picture a slab of tasteless cardboard! We are talking gourmet rice cracker with a sweet yet slightly salty taste. Enough!! I'm going to have to 'log roll' out of here and go on the hunt if I continue ππ

Haha, well, I'm glad your enjoying them. You'll be a log roll expert before long. Why does that remind me of cake π
Now I want cake π₯΄

I do like some japanese snacks, they can really be a new experience as the food culture is quite different. @onedayatatime I will keep an eye out for them! Glad to hear the log roll has been perfected! Practice makes perfect right? π I also have to keep snacks out of grabbable reach, or else they're gone in minutes.
@Amberpearl A lovely poem. I've heard poetry can be a good way of getting out feelings and emotions and helping get past the difficult ones. I hope it maybe helped with that a little?
@Katiedimelow20 I'm sorry to hear your mum makes you feel like that. Is there anyone else you could talk to to maybe mediate at all? Maybe help explain to your mum the way she is making you feel?
@Sandy_123 I briefly had the same thought π a chocolate roll cake
Morning everyone!
