Hi, new to Non Epileptic seizures

in Start here and say hello!

hi

I was diagnosed with non epileptic seizures back in November, neurologist very rude and dismissive.
Latest episodes involve me completely loosing speech.
No medical professional seems interested .

Does anyone else suffer with lose of speech? Any help or advice much appreciated.

    Hi @angelaj68, welcome to the community 😊I'm sorry to hear you had a negative experience with your neurologist 😕 Have you requested perhaps to get a second opinion or to have someone else in the room with you to chaperone when with the neurologist? Someone who could advocate for you perhaps?

    Hi my husband has been in the room every time. Just feel no-one is listening.
    Is loss of speech something others have experienced? Just feel very alone at the moment.
