Even Stephen Timms saying about getting disabled people to work
0 -
are they saying HOW they are going to do it or do they just plan to flick a magic wand and hope that disabled people are back to work

I know, I mean would an employer want someone whose ill, taking time off work. Before I got really poorly and had to leave ,I had around 5 days off over 5 months and was huled in about it. It's ridiculous,

So it appears we'll have to wait for the Get Britain Working White Paper ( to be published this Autumn ) for detail on how those on ill health out of work benefits will be asked to engage with Job Centre Plus. As for PIP, no mention was made of where we stand in terms of the recent consultation.
The Budget on the 30th will obviously be the day we hear about the financial implications - new benefit rates etc.
All in all we remain in the dark regarding the future of PIP, WCA, LCW, LCWRA, ESA & Carer's Allowance
Pensioners on the other hand know exactly where they stand in terms of the Winter Fuel Payment.
Disappointing to say the least.

Why don't they say about volunteering instead. One of my conditions is chronic and the weather effects my breathing and lungs. Don't know what work I'm supposed to do. Also fatigue that I need to sleep . Very let down by Timms response today
