hello everyone
Just had a phone call from a guy at universal credit as I’m due to migrate and oh my goodness. He was so nice but as soon as he asked me about migration I burst into tears. I hate phone calls and even though it was fine and he was nice it’s put me into panic mode. I am going to put my claim in on Tuesday, and it has put my mind at ease as I got to ask questions and he said I wouldn’t be reassessed etc and my information will be sent over and honestly he was such a nice guy nothing like I was expecting, I think I was expecting someone like Mel Stride on the other end . But omg the fight or flight is unreal it’s like I’m being chased by a grizzly bear probably going to take me hours to calm down.
hope everyone else has had a calmer start to their mornings 🤣0 -
It’s so tough isn’t it! Even if things are fine my body reacts so badly, any change etc I can’t cope with but I’m sure it will all go fine for you with the council ❤️
And thankyou @Bluebell21 I’m glad it’s at least out of the way now as I knew they would be calling so I can put that to the back of my mind now ❤️

hi all, hope you're all well. To those not feeling good, sending you some positive vibes.
Today I received a text, which is posted in this comment, it's from a normal text number, but the content I believe is fake, and no not going to answer any calls, as not had a heads up from UC or Pip. So it has to be a scam, please be careful if you receive anything like this.

@Teigr oh no, try to rest and feel better soon
@Nightcity glad you had someone nice on the phone
I got phoned yesterday by the nurse to say the multi disciplinary team have urgently requested my notes from previous health Trust to look at why I was prescribed meds and to decide what to do.
Completely contradicts what he said in assessment thank goodness as that has my history going back 30 years. I feel like I stand a chance of being helped now.

Fingers crossed that it all goes well for you and you get the help you need 🤞🏻

afternoon all been depressed lately with my own stuff and husband has dementia and mental health issues he is disappearing before my eyes.i don’t get out much with very little support from family. They take me to my hospital appointments which I am grateful for but no emotional support or understanding about my depression or dementia. Got a taxi to the suoermarket this morning which was a huge thing for me and it hasn’t cheered me up at all. I feel ungrateful!!!!! I just can’t shake it off. Anyway thanks for listening it’s good to share on here! Hope everyone finds some light in their day. 😊
