morning everyone hope everyone manages to feel the fear and do it anyway today. Sometimes it’s impossible and sometimes it’s not. Impossible becomes possible is my wish for us all. Not feeling well today my doctors weening me off morphine slowly and I have a whole host of withdrawal symptoms! Another day in the sofa.

Hi I’m sorry your struggling coming down from the morphine, I know how tough it can be I also reduced after my knee replacement I reduced from 5 to 2 throughout the day but had to go back up one so I’m stable on 3 during the day now and I get slow release morning and night.
Stay strong you’ll get there.Sorry my tagging didn’t work there.

Oh blimey @osrbsj that can't be fun at all, morphine withdrawal isn't fun. But at least you're doing things slowly.

So so @Albus_Scope . Thanks for caring. I am rather anxious and not sure what to do. Future is very scary. Scared about the system moving me to universal credit. But would love to be able to work on something from home or something similar. At the same time I won't think I could do it . Overall I live with anxiety twenty for seven because I can't stop worrying... Painwise depends. Good ok days. And depression is not good either. I only hope one day all will turn into a better situation but I doubt it.

The unknown can be a very scary thing @Schildpad I'm sorry it's all getting to you. But just remember you only hear about peoples bad experiences, hardly ever the good ones, so you'll be ok. 😊

Sorry to hear that @Amberpearl are you using any moisturisers to help?

Hi everyone
@osrbsj I hope you aren't too bad withdrawing for morphine .At least you are doing it properly with medical support.
I got a letter to get bloods done in November so maybe I'm going to get some help about my meds too. I'm looking at it as a positive.
Hope the glasses ease headaches @Lou67 and that your mum gets well soon.
@Schildpad we will beat the anxiety and low mood together. It's helps me to know I'm not the only one. I've decided to journal again and ask for counselling from the place that helped me last year.

I am so amazed at the courage and tenacity of everyone in this community and how much everyone cares for each other I know from experience how blooming challenging it is mental health wise and with physical illness. This forum feels like such a safe place full of beautiful people. So happy I found it! Thank you everyone

@Marydoll5 . Thanks. Happy to see counselling works for some people. In my case. It did not. I will See my psychologist in December so will see what is her plan. But been for so long sick. I struggle to believe I will get out of this situation. Reading the papers etc does not help.. reading about the new budget. The system is really making me feel worse.
