I'll definitely post pics of the pup when we get one :)

I have done a SARS before but it was some time ago, the problem is, I may have 6 years worth missing from when I was in a different county which is one of the issues that I'm trying to get them to address, that's if they can actually find the records because it's some years ago now.

I personally feel like that my records are a bit of a mess, again, something I'm trying to get them to address.

My son emailed them for an update on the complaint, records, factually inaccurate medical notes, reasonable adjustment requests and updating my medical record (conditions in them) without having to book an appointment which would just be a waste.

hehehe, New Zealand looks nice but that's a hard country to go and live in from what I can gather. I just want somewhere pleasant with nice scenery and nice people where it's warm all year round (not hot).

Hi @Summerlove The last psychiatrist that I saw advised me to stop taking medication because it wasn't at all helpful.

Well they still haven't sorted the reasonable adjustment request out, this is now 6 weeks later and 2 requests sent because apparently the practice manager didn't receive the first one, my son emailed them asking for an update yesterday about the complaint/medical record issues, the reasonable adjustments and asked to update us about something else the practice manager was meant to be addressing and getting back to me about in August.. He's let them know if we don't receive a response/update in 10 working days that I'll be contacting ICB again.

Also, I was having emotional support emails, I didn't find them very helpful however the person doing them said she'd try and help me get rereferred to the mental health services when I was ready but she also said it was a bit difficult to be referred to somewhere else, but as you've said, you have a right to choose, so I'll be using that.

@Summerlove I think you are the first person who has said that, I've read about it and wondered if that's why treatment hasn't helped me, it's partly why I don't want to keep trying over and over, it causes me more stress than anything else.

The other problem is for whatever reason the GP's at this medical centre seem clueless as to what treatments I've tried, I don't know if it's because most of what I tried was when I was at the previous medical centre so maybe it's paperbased or what but it's something else I need to address with the practice manager as when the DWP ask for reports, the GP doesn't give them the proper information, they just say I've tried medication and it was unhelpful.

I have an open case with the ombudsman, they've not been much help at all in relation to the issues that I'm having with the medical centre, they'll just send them the same bog standard email which doesn't nothing at all to help and yet they know how long it's been going on for because I've told them and we first opened a complaint with them in November 2022..

It's annoying when you tell people what you've tried but then they say "have you tried" and I sit here rolling my eyes because I don't want to KEEP trying different therapist because one might happen to be good which I've not had yet, or other treatments, I don't like or trust people much, I just want to be left alone, my counsellor was brilliant but as I said in another post, she told me my anxiety had gotten worse over the course of the sessions, I had 26 sessions in total as I recall, this was when the NHS was a bit more generous with this kind of thing. My previous GP although she was rubbish at coding and recording my medical conditions understood that I had tried various things for both my mental and physical health but nothing had helped. As I said, I don't know what they issue is with this current medical centre but they seem bloody clueless in regards to my health conditions, I feel like I have to repeat myself over and over when I shouldn't because it's all in my records.

    Pardon the rant.

It's definitely not good where I am, that's for sure, the last service that I was referred to in 2022 were so rude to my son that I ended up cancelling the assessment, I still had to speak to the woman who would have been doing the assessment to see if they could signpost me but she was about as much use as a chocolate teapot, she offered talk therapy, meds and management, she said I couldn't have a CPA because I'm not harming myself (which is really bloody stupid), wouldn't tell me how to get a diagnosis, just went along with what my GP said who was also quite useless and the GP I complained about (part of the complaint that I'm still chasing them about for), she then said she would cancel the assessment because I'd already tried to help myself. I have a weird feeling that they've told the medical centre that they assessed me when they didn't, so that is again something I need to ask the current useless practice manager about, if she does her job properly, I'll retract the useless bit but so far she's been useless.

I possibly have some good news.. I found a pup but not a Labrador, a Cockapoo, my son and mum should hopefully going to see him on Wednesday and it's highly likely that they'll be bringing him home :) If everything works out, I'll post some pics of him.

We have 3 names for male dogs so far, Rollo, Rascal and Ollie.

    I hope everyone's doing well :)

The lady who has the pup has kindly said she would bring him to us, she wouldn't accept money for the petrol, all being well he should be here this afternoon, we've got a name, we're going to call him Oli, rather than Ollie, Ollie is a skateboarding move lol, I just hope Bronn will be ok, I don't want him to stop doing his usual things.

How exciting. @Nashota Oli is a lovely name. It will just take a while for Bronn to adjust. Just give him lots of fuss. As long as Oli accepts Bronn is the boss no problem. They will find there own way of accepting each other.

    Good luck.

    Thank you Bluebell :)

Lol that bit about Bronn being the boss made me chuckle, he's a very laid back cat, placid but he does know what he likes and doesn't like and will tell you either way, we adore Bronn, never thought I'd love a cat this much as we've always been dog people, I've only ever had 2 now 3 cats in my entire life. He's very spoiled but he deserves it.

When we first fostered him, we adopted a dog from the same place, the dog didn't seem to phase Bronn at all, it was only when the dog was doing stuff Bronn didn't like and he'd tell him by hissing or I think he may have slapped him with his paw, problem was although the dog just wanted to play, he was a bit relentless and he was too much for us in general, very mouthy, tried to bite my son 3 times etc so we ended up having to ask the rescue who's fault it was as they didn't match us with the dog properly to rehome him and ended up adopting Bronn, I'm sure Bronn will be ok, but I think my anxiety is probably making me overthink it.

I mean Oli is only 10 weeks old at the moment, he's got a lot of toys so we can distract him with those.
