Morning all I hope yous are doing well and have a good day.
I’m feeling a bit achy and blocked up a day in for me I think. I’m supposed to be going to my granddaughters dance show tonight don’t think I will manage to go unfortunately.
@chiarieds
Hi I hope your doing good, and hopefully have a day off from dog sitting.
Sorry I just saw your msg on here I think I have a bit off a cold, my mums much the same but we got in touch with the nurses that dealt with her during her treatment she’s going to speak to the consultant and get back to my mum.
She’s just starting to overthink things it’s a shame but we are hoping it’s just a bad bug she has.

Hi everyone!
It's been ages I know. I do read the odd time but felt able to write today.
Had appointment yesterday with cpn and went better. They finally got my notes. He was more understanding. Apparently my diagnosis is severe recurrent depression and they don't understand why I was put on a mood stabiliser from 2012. More worrying is I have never been yearly blood tested.
The psychiatrist will see me but theres a 6 month wait. At least we are getting somewhere now.
Hope everyone is as good as they can be

Heeeeey @Marydoll5 it's so great to see you. I'm so glad to hear there's been a bit of progress, it's much better than none at all! We're all here for you if you want to talk things through. ❤️

Hopefully this year for you @Teigr

Thanks @Albus_Scope and @Sandy_123
I think what has gradually happened is the shock medical retirement then covid where noone was working and then things got back to normal but not for me.
I've nothing to do no purpose and no reason to get up. My world has become really small never mind depression.
If anyone out there has ideas how I get back to the land of the living I'd appreciate it. With not being very mobile it shouldn't matter as I can drive

Hey, just because you don't have as much going on as you previously did, it doesn't mean your world is smaller @Marydoll5, it just means you need to find new ways of enjoying it. There's always a reason to get up, you just need to look inward and figure out what that is. 😊
I found writing lists of things really helped me see the bigger picture. Just write down things you enjoy, or might enjoy. Start from there. And don't put too much pressure on yourself to figure things out quickly. Take your time, we got you. ❤️1 -
What @Albus_Scope said @Marydoll5

I have started making very short lists of things to do each day so I can tick them off and it does help.
I am going to ask if there are any activities in the community centre to try and feel less lonely and give me reason to get out

That sounds a good plan @Marydoll5 usually lots of groups going on
