I think perhaps you mean the Treaty of Versailles 'may' have possibly led to resentment & an upsurge in militarism in Germany in the 1930s. Hitler however aligned himself to what he needed to rise to power & promoted his ideal of the perfect 'Aryan race;' his expulsion of Jewish people from the Greater German Reich later led to a policy of extermination. The handicapped & others were also targeted, but to a lesser extent. tho it's all terrible to read.
I think the Treaty of Versailles had rather hoped that Germany wouldn't ever threaten Europe again; could it have envisaged Hitler?

He also said in regards to Tories that when we are enslaved by financial institutions and generations are in debts up to their necks mortgages housing Car loans credit cards etc etc they will regret it and look back at the greatest opportunity missed and rejected by the British public.
HHe could never understand why the British public rejected Socialism when they had only one shot at it . Broke his heart because he saw what it was like before under tories and knew what the future held 💕

Well yes and no some well known banks funded him .
Hitler had high support in high places even amongst some Royals at that time here wh Edward VIII and his misses so pretty glad he abducated 💕
The Conditions created a perfect breeding ground for him due to the economical climate so he could rise and yes eugenics was also a belief but not just by him it was practiced in other places too along with sterilisation programes including parts of U.S 💕

Supporting Ukraine now in my opinion is money well spent. The costs of inaction far outweigh the costs of assistance. If unchecked, Russian expansionism could threaten European security and, eventually, the UK’s own safety.

It is good to look at spending critically, but it can also be a problem to have tunnel vision on such matters as well I think. Yes, there is money being spent on Ukraine, and there is money allotted to be cut from welfare. There are also thousands of other areas where there is spending or government revenue being lost.
And just a gentle reminder that we are all here because we are either disabled or we have disabled family/friends, we are carers or we care about disability advocacy. We may have differing opinions on foreign policy and the spending that happens on it, but we shouldn't lose sight of what we have in common.

Exactly Cath by escalating wars who is it benefiting ? We were all asked here to take in families who were displaced they have lost everything. In U.S they were homeless living on the streets in tents while it was happening.
War is a rich man's game it never benefits the people. Thr people take all the risks and Consquences

In same article it speaks of a nurse Vera.
She says she wished those encouraging war could see what she sees. Mustard gas sticking soliders eyes together unable to see knowing they were about to take their last breath while chocking to death.
It's heartbreaking to read and that was mustered gas

I don't understand much about wars, why,where,what etc.
I don't pretend to and I don't want to.
I think they're absolutely disgusting and pointless though and anyone causing one or escalating one is either deranged or warped.
Let's just hope what that pillock Biden has done doesn't result in anything major and that the russian clown (who is about as stable as a Frank Spencer shelf) will wait for his bestie to get in and listen to him about peace.
