    Amberpearl, I was wrong to say you won't need documents or notes as you will need to confirm your National Insurance number (I've memorised mine)

    Possibly may be asked to confirm your bank account details too.

    UC are not interested in your spending as other members keep advising. It's not a reassessment or a route to any increase in your award. Checking that you are getting "the correct amount" means checking you aren't getting too much!

    They want confirmation of information you have already given them and that's all. They are standard questions asked of all UC claimants.

    Just had a message in my journal

    Sorry I didn't call

    Just upload driving licence and 2 passport pics

    I don't have either

    And 4 months bank statements clearing showing start and end balance before 10 Feb or your payments will stop

    That was it

    I got a reply saying don't worry about your id for now

    Just concentrate on your bank statement s

    I have 14 days to upload

    So is ie ok if I don't do it today and my nerves are shot to pieces

    You do not need to do it today @Amberpearl just as soon as you can. They have to have them by the 10 February. Try and rest now after your stressful day. Take care.

    @Amberpearl I do not understand why do they not call. I feel it is a type of control. I think it is very unfair. An apology does not suffice. Anyway I hope you can rest. But I would not believe them if they say they call and then they don't. That psychological game is not fair. And they did it a second time. Maybe they will only need the bank statements and leave you alone.. but try to not to worry as you got time.

    I've been in a state for days waiting for this call twice and they never rang just a quick message saying upload documents and statements

    Hi @Amberpearl I do not know why they did not phone you. They just want to check your bank statements to see you are within the means testing for Universal Credit. Several other members have had the same. Try not to worry.
