Oh ok thanks

that’s a rumor that’s been going around for a while now - I don’t know if it’s true or not but black rock don’t have a good rap
I restate: I don’t know is starmer is naively taking bad advice from his aides or deserves an Oscar for concealing a corrupt nature for so long - neither sounds like the correct theory - I honestly can’t a read on the guy (though insiders have described him as ‘ruthless’ and he must have a very strategic mind to become the level of barrister he did)
This story is starting to spread but if any truth it is unbelievable stupid - just add commercials and a monthly £5 online streaming only option is the clear answer to the govs predicament (and surely the likes of Netflix & Disney+ would sue if that happened as many can’t afford streaming and tv licence so they would lose business as a result) - labour don’t seem to want any voters

Liz Kendal is also speaking this afternoon:

I can only afford the £5 subscription with adverts so if this happens I’ll just cancel the lot. What the hell is wrong with this government

I can't afford Netflix at all. I pay for Amazon Prime and stream from that and YouTube. I suppose that both will be taxed.
There are more paywalls for online news, albeit nothing to do with government.
is the aim to cut us off from our sociopolitical cultureas well as a little joy?
At least I cancelled my Labour Party subs before the GE when Labour's response to the PIP Green Paper gave an inkling as to their way forward.

I'm trying not to panic as Kimmy 87 keeps telling us things like Welfare changes take years to change and very unlikely so I've decided to listen to her instead

I don't know why some of you folks torment yourselves reading The Daily Mail, The Sun, watching GB News etc. These are very right wing publications, broadcasters, who definitely don't have your best interests at heart.

My brother said starmer is ruthless he is a puppet to other organisations. It's obviously he doesn't care about the uk. He was shown that he said he perfered davos to parliament.
Starmer doesn't care about us, I hope he goes although there isn't much choice on the front bench.

He isn't going anywhere, he was elected only a few months ago. All this petition business is a nonsense, im afraid.
Remember that most of the media hate the Labour Party, they will never give them a fair hearing. Blair was the exception to the rule, but that's another story!

I'm sorry but their actions have been terrible, the pensioners, farmers giving rises to the train drivers who earn a packet as it is. Sending money to farmers abroad . Trying to get us back in the eu where other countries economy is failing. Should get deals with America

Ye gods after the Tory nightmare of chopping and changing PM, the country needs some stability in it's PM.
I may not particularly like him or agree with decisions made, but I do feel strongly about needing stability!

The dream would be corbyn for me if that had happened what a different country this would have been yh they put stop to that !!!

Don't worry about the farmers, they'll be just fine! Also what sort of deal can we expect from the US? Trump wants everything on the table - health provision, us accepting reduced standard food; we keep hearing about their hormone fed beef and chloride washed chicken. We are sorely reduced due to Brexit, we need to rebuild bridges.
Here's a example. I grow vegetables in my garden, and sell them to the residents in my street. One day I say 'stuff this', I think I'll turn my back on the street, and instead sell my vegetables to folks in Shetland! Where would be the sense in that?

I really would like a credible source for that.
