the thing is that the disabled community has some of the smartest ppl in the country in their ranks - reeves and Kendall have said some mind boggling daft things/ideas these past few months and can be ‘outwitted’ in their quite frankly poor arguments

On the other hand it only takes one spooked wilderbeast (not the smartest of creatures/a prey animal) to start a stampede

I do however think the community need to start thinking more outside the box then writing to their own mp only and only chatting with disabled on the scope forum - it’s unfair that all this is only high stakes for disabled ppl……especially if you consider that if even 20% of disabled ppl (and their family/carers) did a strategic protest vote next general election many Labour MPs would lose their seats

Taste of one’s own medicine comes to mind

I’m also reading that Ed davey embarrassed liz Kendall yesterday in pmqs

I know many of you don’t like davey but he’s a definite disability ally and the only real alternative vote currently available next ge (voting reform would be crazy - hope greens would agree to an election pact and/or we get a new central leaning party in the next couple of years)
