WCA telephone cancelled without notice
Hello, I waited for my phone WCA appointment time and it was a no-show not even pre-cancelled, when I called they said it should have been cancelled and someone would contact me, and it would be rebooked. I Haven’t heard back. I suffer severe anxiety and this was so traumatic for me. Anyone else had this happen and be given another appointment? Or maybe I’m hoping I don’t need the assessment at all and my application already gave them a decision? I so have have DLA (was PIP) also, I’m so stressed about this, thanks

Yes, this does happen sometimes but you should have been contacted to tell you it was cancelled. You can put in a complaint with the health assessment providers by looking on their website to see the complaints procedure.
If an assessment is still needed you will be contacted again with a new date and time.

Update for anyone reading this, I didn’t get a call back, but got a letter 3 days later for a new appointment the following week.
