I wouldn’t worry about those things at all .
part of my MH condition causes me to impulse spend and when it’s bad i can literally spend so much on stupid stuff I don’t even need .0 -
I forgot to mention I posted my latest journal entry under payments, because there doesnt seem to be a service issues option.

keep us updated pls coz I’ll be going through all this soon

Only change is a message to inform me because I get ESA my payments will be affected, so someone has looked at my file to add that message but ignored the journal. Paper statements which I requested from my bank are not here yet either.

Those messages are automatically generated so someone might not have read your Journal yet.

I declared my savings above 6k last month, I was really worried about it, having to send bank statements etc online. I never received any messages in my journal about a review of any kind, it was straight forward for myself, and they just deduct so much each month depending on my savings. It seems certain claims are flagged for whatever reason if they appear to be higher risk of fraud, e.g, a change of job/earnings, moving address and how much rent your now paying. Some people don't hear anything from DWP and some seem to be asked for more evidence or to come to job centre for face to face interviews, it hardly makes you want to declare your savings etc because of the worry and stress of it all. DWP should get their own house in order first instead of hassling claimants for trying to do the right thing, especially those who are already sick, vulnarable or disabled, and making their conditions worse.

This is what makes it even more frustrating, knowing its not standard process, I have not found anyone else reporting my situation anywhere else and both you and overly, were able to just update the savings.
I have already decided I wont be going in, its even more of an issue knowing I would be doing it for nothing as the paper statements are not even here, I will ring UC early Monday to make this clear.
Making people jump through hoops like this discourages changes being reported.1 -
I know , it’s like your being punished for doing the right thing .
I have to update soon because stupid me didn’t spend all my backdated pip and the 12 month disregard will up in a few months , I’ll then be well over the 6k by an awful lot . I’m absolutely dreading having to do this, I’m sure they’ll put me through what they’re putting you through . Keep us updated pls and I hope it goes ok .1 -

How much did they diduct monthly if you dont mind me asking

It was £21 this month as I had over 7k in my account, they take £4.35 for every £250 you have over 6k in your account. If I'd have had a straight 7k it would have been £17.40, if it's an odd amount say £7,165 they would round it up to the next nearest £250, which would be amended next month depending on if your savings have increased or decreased. It sounds more complicated than it actually is, but that's DWP for you!! They work it out as follows, £1000 is divided by 250, which =4, 4muli[lied by £4.35=£17.40, which is deducted from your U.C. I just amend my savings each month, (assessment period) in change of circumstances, regardless of if I have more or less in my account, they just work out how much to deduct or increase your U.C payments each time you are paid, hope that helps, please don't be confused by it all like I was, worrying and stressing about it, in the end it was straight forward, nobody contacted me, hassled me, or left dreaded messages in my journal etc.

It’s over in 3 months I had saving before as well so I’ve been spending that as well but when my 12 months is over I’ll have well over 6k left I wish I spent ALL my backdated pay now
