I'm new to this community even though I've been disabled for over some 30 odd years. Multiple issues over the years and adding to them as i age. Latest include scoliosis and just looking for advice as to whether to seek a specialist for this, as i gather they only treat it in the young.

    Hi @Ellie50 and welcome to the community! I agree with @Bluebell21, it's definitely best to try to see a specialist to get the best support available. Hopefully you can get referred swiftly. Please let us know how it goes if you're happy to.

    Happy to have the post moved. I have a Gastroenterology doctor. He kerps trying to sign me off and then i develop something new... my gp is aware annd I've been having tests, hence i know, almost certainly, what i have. Runs in the family too. Seeing a dietician too and on a low fodmap diet.

    Has anyone had any scoliosis treatment as an adult? What did it involve? Was it worth it?
