Hi @lixsharp13,
Welcome to Scope's online community! It's great to have you here.
Would you care to tell us a little bit more about yourself?Liam -
I was advised by my kidney specialist ( i have kidney disease) to give up work and concentrate on my health. I told my gp this and he immediately put me on the sick. I am 56 and was heartbrojen. I was running my own childminding business and i loved it. But i did know every day was becoming harder. Im also diabetic with lots of complications. This all happened in feb this year . I applied for pip and was awarded standard for both so im now waiting for a tribunal date. I went for a health assesment for esa 11 weeks ago and im still waiting to hear from them too. Ive got behind with my bills and im strugglung to carry on

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, @lixsharp. With regards to your upcoming PIP tribunal, have you had a look on our website about appealing a DWP benefits decision? There's lots of information on there which might be of interest to you.
As for the ESA decision... @BenefitsTrainingCo, how long do people have to wait on average? Is an 11 week wait normal?
