What do we make of Labour potentially asking PIP recipients what they actually spend there money on.For years it says you can spend it on what you like,now a large amount goes on daily living expenses,food,gas,electricity,water,phone, Internet,tv pacage,most people with disabilities more so muskeloskeletal issues dontā¦

PIP Review Timeline
I've had the "Review Complete" text from DWP which means they have done a paper-based assessment. Have to wait for the letter now, but not having to have an assessment was the biggest hurdle for me. Phew! I'm in the North East. The Review has started text received on 9th August '24 Review paperwork received by DWP on 31stā¦

Pip change law
Had a letter about change in law how it may affect you with social support to mix with other people face to face . When I had assessment I was awarded 0 points for mixing with other people. Which I no wasent right but didn't challenge it because to stressful so was awarded lowest rate daily living. That was in 2019. Thenā¦

Almost pension age - can still apply for Pip?
Hi, Just a quick question. My Father is 66 (and so can claim his pension) at the end of July this year. He has been off work for a good few months as his mobility has declined, and it won't really get any better due to age related degeneration making it worse. Can he still claim Pip? Hi, I received the above text on Monday morning and I am wondering when I will receive my first payment as it's badly needed. I've read different people saying 2 weeks for decision letter and others 2 days for first payment. Just wondering if anyone can confirm? This is a Northern Ireland claim. TIA

DLA to PIP stick or twist
I have an indefinite DLA award of high care/low mobility for a lifetime condition (epilepsy). My concern is that if I wait until the proposed measures happen before claiming PIP (assuming they do), then I may not qualify due to the 4 point rule. If I do qualify then maybe my current LCWRA award would also be cut under theā¦
