I am able bodied but at Christmas moved into my partners home with her children it is a big step as my partner had a stroke at 42 just 2 weeks after her little girl was born that was 7 years ago
She can only use the right side of her body and I care for her when I am not at work
Maybe this is not the site for me and my partner but I would sure like to get help and advice from the community
I look forward to hearing from anyone

To claim carers allowance your earnings must be no more than £132/week after deductions. https://www.gov.uk/carers-allowance/eligibilityDid you use the benefits calculator as advised in your other thread here. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/100608/hi-my-name-is-steve-moved-in-with-partner-need-benefits-advice#latestIf it shows any entitlement to UC then as i advised in that thread above, you can report being your partners carer and your UC will include the carers element. You don't need to claim carers allowance to be entitled to carers element.
