Is the carers element means tested ? If so Google says it effects earnings 🤨

You're confusing carers element with Carers Allowance. Carers element is part of Universal Credit, which is means tested. There's no earnings limit for Carers element.Carer Allowance is a seperate benefit which isn't means tested but has a maximum earnings limit of £132/week after deductions.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Those threads are a different person to the one that just asked the question. (i agree this is what happens when members ask questions on other peoples threads.. confusion)
