I don't need time out . Just a little bit of understanding that's all . If my daughter goes ahead with her idea everything will be shot to pieces.

I don't do well at Christmas or until mid February, I never got over my nans death in 2013 she was the one who loved Christmas, I always shut off from the world this time of year, Had some odd an nasty symptoms since April, now after 7 + months of vitamin D and folic acid I've got yhe same and even odder symptoms now they think I may have MS. Everything is numb or/and tingling and a scolding hot drink spilt on my foot Monday and Although I felt the wetness not the heat.
life's a bowl of cherries they say
mines a never ending bowl of vomit lol

I know we can't turn the clock back but I look at things now and I wish I had never had children. I never thought I'd see the day when everything could be turned upside down in the blink of an eye . So cross with myself

You've not done anything wrong @Strawberry1, please don't feel like you have to give us a break from your posts, you're never a burden or a nuisance to us ๐
You say you're not strong, but lots of us have seen how strong you are after all you've been dealing with. It also takes a lot of strength to come ono here and share that you're not feeling good. You're much stronger than you think you are and we all appreciate you for who you are ๐

I'm a soap addict going back to 1986 when I was 4, I've seen every episode of sons and daughters, brookside, prisoner cell Block H,. And majority amounts of EastEnders Emmerdale shortland street etc.
bodies under patios, carbombs, serial killer nurses, hauntings, everything you can think of.
But I personally love them because they are often unrealistic and an escape.

Your kindness is appreciated @Rosie_Scope . I probably don't deserve it but I do appreciate it.

That doesn't sound nice at all @Nightcity, hope you get some answers about what's going on soon. Christmas can be a really difficult time if you've lost loved ones too, so I hope you're doing alright and the season passes over quickly.
Hope you're coping okay too @Catherine21, there's lots of pressure around this time of year.
You do deserve kindness @Strawberry1, you give so much kindness to others and you definitely deserve some yourself too ๐

hi @Strawberry1 You are not a loser and everything is not your fault. How would you like to spend Christmas if you had a choice? If you daughter and her boyfriend are going to be difficult ask them not to come at Christmas. It can be a stressful time of year for many people and a lot of hard work.
You can talk to us anytime we are here for you. You are not a burden and we love hearing from you.
You are kind and caring and help lots of other people.
Please take care of yourself .
