You are right to not simply walk out of your current housing with nowhere new lined up as it is correct that the council could see that as making yourself intentionally homeless even if you have reasons that the environment isn’t right for you there. Although everything takes time it’s always best to do things through the correct channels. Perhaps if you request a needs assessment then they can see what help you need and also may be able to get someone to assist in getting you rehoused if they see that your housing situation is not good for your needs.

Im sorry to read that things are still the same with you, but only way to get any help is to request the need’s assessment this has been suggested for months now.
I really hope you do that  and things can hopefully get better for you.

    Take care.

I'm sure it was first advised back in January and many times since then. If it had been done at the start then an assessment could have already been done now and help on it's way.

Agnia, why won't you refer yourself for the needs assessment? I realise English isn't your first language but you type very well in English and i understand you perfectly well.

Here's the link for the needs assessment again, which you really should look at. It's the only way you're going to get any sort of help. https://www.gov.uk/apply-needs-assessment-social-services

I'm not sure about housework (cleaning) but they can certainly help with things like cooking/preparing meals and shopping. You will need to have a needs assessment first before this happens.

I do know for a fact that they can help with things like shopping, cooking and preparing meals. If it's determined that help can be given, you'll have a financial assessment as well, this will then determine how much you'll need to pay for any help they give. They will also pay a contribution towards your support and this can be paid as a direct payment. There's some information here regarding this. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/wales/family/looking-after-people/direct-payments-w/direct-payments-what-are-they-w/

The person you spoke to isn't correct when they told you that no support can be given for shopping and preparing/cooking your food. My daughter used to have a support worker (carer) who always supported her for those things. It was in her care plan. I also know of others that also receive support like that.

Of course it's not guaranteed but you won't know if support can be given unless you have the needs assessment to start with.

I don't think any question is silly if you don't know the answer.

    Thank you for response
i would like to confirm please that i have found my council borough homepage about the care assessment and this information  that

if i should feel that the care assessment would be suitable for me then i can either :
complete a care assessment form or call the referral Center for the number i was reaching today and got this information that their carer from my local council don’t do any cleaning shopping helping with meals

I can only give advice based on my personal experience and from others that i know. They will give support for shopping and cooking/perparing meals. For cleaning, you may have to pay for that yourself.
