I got a notification on my Monzo app, my COL payment is due in my account on Wednesday 3rd May, although with Monzo i can get it a day early.

Hope everyone else has some good news.

    All the best.

Most of the articles didnt explain why they stopped a day early on Thursday, but one did give a reason stating they used Friday to make Universal Credit payments early that normally would have been done on the following bank holiday.

Are you sure you qualify? Which benefits are you claiming exactly?

    Bit long winded but confusing.

Hi are you eligible for the colp if Your relevant period is 11 January 2023 to 10 April 2023 for LCWRA.

We are awarding you Limited Capability for Work and WorkRelated Activity from 11 January 2023.

    Any insights would be helpful.

    In my journal I wrote
So my award was 0.00 but
    Assessment period: 19 Feb- 18 March 2023
We can pay your landlord £51.94 towards your housing.
We take £58.34 off your payment to pay back your advances.
    Other DWP benefits recovery
    minus‑ £36.54
    Tax Credits recovery minus‑ £36.55
    Does that still count
    Thanks

    They replied with this
    Hello Jade
You are eligible for the first Cost of Living Payment of £301 if you were entitled to a payment (or later found to be entitled to a payment) of Universal Credit for an assessment period that ended in the period 26 January 2023 to 25 February 2023.

    I then found this
    Hello Jade

You are eligible for the first Cost of Living Payment of £301 if you were entitled to a payment (or later found to be entitled to a payment) of Universal Credit for an assessment period that ended in the period 26 January 2023 to 25 February 2023.fund this on gov.uk site
You may still be eligible for a Cost of Living Payment if your benefit is reduced to £0 and one of the following applies:

money was taken off your benefit for other reasons, such as payments of rent to your landlord or for money that you owe

    I haven't received anything

The relevant period refers to the waiting period for LCWRA and it's not paid at all during that time.

The assessment period 19th Feb to 18th March is not the qualifying period. The qualifying period is 26th Jan to 25 Feb.

Did you receive a payment for your assessment period dated 19th Jan to 18th Feb? If you did then you'll be entitled to the £301.

Your housing amount seems very low. How much is your maximum UC entitlement before any deductions? Are you claiming as a single person or with a partner? Are you and/or partner working?

i qualify under the income-based esa qualification.  nothing yet.  the govt.'s press releases say that there will be a form on gov.uk to complete if you don't get it but i can't find it.  i didn't get the earlier ones without complaining either so i guess i'm on a blacklist somewhere :D

The last day for payment is today so the form for missing payment will probably be on the cost of living website from tomorrow.

If part of your ESA is Income Related then you will qualify.
If nothing has changed since last year when you received them then you should be entitled now.
