I received zero points on my assessment! Not only that I received no text or letter of the decision. I called them and said I want to start MR, they told me to wait for paperwork in the post and fill it all out again, I waited two weeks still nothing so I called up they are now saying I need to print it off gov website. So been told two different things 2 weeks wasted waiting for paperwork that hadn’t even been sent I must say my experience with pip isn’t a good one slow & uninformed, close to giving up now it’s really draining me

I wouldn't expect you to receive a text with a refusal decision. Texts are only usually send if there's an award, even then not everyone will receive it.How long ago was the decision made? It's not unusual to wait a couple of weeks for the decision letter to arrive.You can't print the decision letter off from the Gov.uk website, they were talking about the MR request form. You can see that here. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/challenge-a-decision-made-by-the-department-for-work-and-pensions-dwpOr you can put it in writing as a letter. You should state where and why you think you should have scored those points. Giving a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve printed it off and going to fill it out and get it sent today, the woman who done the assessment told loads of lies and left of key pieces of information, so will be adding that too. Will I get a text to say they’ve received this new paperwork?

Sometimes they send a text but not always. If they do it may take a few weeks.Make sure you get proof of posting, which is free from any post office.1

Hello VET505I hope I am not too late and you have filled in the form and sent it off. I just want to advise that if you are using the form to do your MR then you can add additional sheets of paper with more anacdotal verbal evidence to back up your MR for your claim. Include your name and national insurance number on every additional sheet you include and reference those additinal sheets on your MR Form.In my opinion it is very important to do a detailed MR because it will help with a tribunal if you require one or if you apply to tribunal the DWP will look at your claim again before tribunal and if they have enough personal verbal anacdotal evidence to make an award they will give you an "offer" so you do not need to have a tribunal.I wrote a lengthy reply on another forum post that you might find usefull for your MR letter also and it can be found here https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/comment/680205/#Comment_680205Good luck with your MRNasturtium

@nasturtium
hey! No not too late getting it printed off now is it ok if I fill it out in pen or do they want it typed up? Really appreciate your advise
my partner is going to write a letter to send with it to explain how bad I really am lol and yea I originally thought I was going to fill out the whole assessment again but been told to print the mr form instead so here we go. I will have to make it clear how the assessor lied in every question and no mention of my partner who is my main aid for everything.Thanks again 🙌🏻1 -
You can fill it in with pen. With regards to the assessment report, it’s fine to highlight a couple of obvious errors/contradictions but then put it to one side.concentrating wholly on this will not get you a PIP award.1

I could not see what advice you needed but is it this?"hi, i had pip renewal phone assessment 3 weeks ago, i rang the helpline today to be told they have reduced my award from enhanced on both to £90 a week, is it worth me trying for a MR? TIA "If it is then I made a reply about reductions in awards when at review stage that you might find useful. Yes it is worth appealing if you can manage with an appeal. First you would need to write a detailed Mandatory Reconsideration letter. You can find my advice on this link here https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/comment/696285#Comment_696285I hope that helpsNasturtium0

There's always a higher chance of success at Tribunal stage, if you either appear in person or have a telephone/video hearing and then there's about 70% chance of a decision in your favour.Only you can decide what you want to do.1
